DESCRIPTION:2020 was Emley Brass Band’s 150th Birthday.  We invite you to celebrate this historic anniversary with us at a FREE event this September! \nIf you were previously a member of the band please sign up for the celebrations here: https://forms.gle/ixQgQ4U8hb5e8mdn6  \nThe event will kick off at 1pm with stalls and activities to celebrate the history of the band. \nAt 2pm\, the concert will start with a selection of pieces commemorating the 150 years of the band.  This will feature a new commission by Andrew Baker about the collapse of the mast.  Ex-players are invited to join us for some massed band pieces. \nIf the weather is good\, this will be an outdoor event.  You are welcome to bring a chair/picnic. \nIf you have any memories\, pictures or stories of the band\, please share them with us and we will try to include them if we can. \nPlease extend this invite to anybody we may have missed!
