The bands annual real ale festival will return on the 29th to the 31th of March 2024 (Good Friday, Saturday & Easter Sunday!).

There will be several real ales, ciders, wines, soft drinks and food available. Fantastic value at only £3 a pint!

If your coming by car, there is a small car park in the village and plenty of on street parking around the bandroom, however please park responsibly and respect our neighbours driveways and access, Thank you! The postcode for your Sat-Nav: HD8 9RJ

Located around half way between Wakefield and Huddersfield Town Centres the village is served by the 232 bus from the towns bus stations.

There is local camping available at Highfield House Caravan Park and several other caravan sites within a reasonable distance of Emley.

B&B and Hotel accommodation can also be found around Emley and Skelmanthorpe

What to expect?

A friendly welcome! We appreciate your patronage of our beer festival, the bands main fundraiser and one of the most anticipated weekends in the village.

We usually have around 15-20 real ales ranging from dark stouts to session ales, a selection of Ciders (fruity and traditional), a couple of choices of wine, and prosecco.

We offer a limited selection of food, superb locally sourced beef burgers, a vegetarian option and a variety of crisps and snacks.

On entry you’ll buy as many tokens as you need which then can be exchanged for drinks, (half, pints, bottles or by the glass), food and snacks, don’t worry it’s really easy to get your drinks!
